KamiCrazy control issues

Even though the developer promises a better responsive controls as in version 1.80, I still found it to be untrue. When I swipe my finger from left to right, sometimes it just didn't have any effects on those soldiers. This is way to annoying for level 25 onwards where you need to swipe the soldiers frequently. I also have several issues with diagonal jumping.

Definitely not worth getting this unless there's been a major update on it in near future.

  1. I completed all 40 levels with the first version of this game, so was interested in seeing what the control update does. Upon grabbing it the controls felt quite different, but on the whole to me they seem a lot tighter and easy to use. I just tried playing levels 25-30 that you've had problems with, and got through them easier than first time around (probably partly because I had already completed them and knew what to do).

I know there's a thread over on touch arcade about this game where the developers post, so it'd probably be worth while contacting them there, as they have said multiple times they are keen to get the controls to feel as good as possible for as many people as possible!

  2. Good for you for being able to complete all those levels!

Hopefully they will improve the controls in the next update.

  3. I recently completed KamiCrazy - it has definitely been one of my favourite iPhone games over the festive season. Some of the later levels really are quite tricky, brings back memories of playing Lemmings into the wee hours of the morning! :)

I haven't had any issues with the controls thankfully, although initially I was finding it a little hard to successfully swipe, but soon realised it was because my screen was quite greasy/sticky so my finger wasn't sliding across it too well. A bit of screen cleaner and a soft cloth soon fixed that and it's been great since. So if you haven't already, I suggest you give your screen a little wipe and see if that helps (and possibly put down the Christmas left overs and chocolates!).

    Keep it real,

    Stan Williams.
